The Very Rev. Dr. Brian Baker, Dean of Trinity Cathedral, Sacramento, California

I am an Episcopal priest, a husband and a father.   I am the Dean (senior priest) at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Sacramento and a West Point graduate and Army veteran.   I learned to meditate (TM) when I was a young teenager and I lean toward the contemplative and mystical expressions of Christianity.  I teach periodically with Tibetan Buddhist Lamas and am an activist for marriage equality and the rights of the homeless.   Prior to moving to Sacramento in 2006 I was the Rector of St. Thomas Church in Sun Valley, Idaho.  Prior to living in Idaho, I lived in Hawaii.  I enjoy watching movies with my family, sitting on the back patio reviewing the day with my wife, smoking an occasional cigar, riding my motorcycle and playing Playstation 3 with my son.
